In addition to the international U40 Network, a series of regional networks are active in different parts of the world to better address local, national and regional issues and to foster regional cooperation in the relevant fields of the 2005 Convention. They complement the work of the international U40 Network.
They were initiated by the U40 Fellows themselves who felt encouraged to push the U40 idea within their regions and use it as a tool to raise awareness about the Convention in their respective environments.
