Conference Flyer

In its third edition, the seminar “Policies for Cultural Diversity” aims at presenting innovative academic papers or non academics that analyse and reflect issues related to cultural diversity. The seminar will be held on 26, 27 and 28 May 2014 in Salvador/BA, Brazil.

Focus lies on issues related to diversity, especially those related to public policy and the implementation of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. The organisers intend to create a space for dialogue between researchers and scholars on the subject.

Call for Papers

To submit papers for the Seminar III Policies for Cultural Diversity (Salvador / BA), applicants must complete a form which is available here.
Entries can be submitted from January 30 2014 until March 10, 2014. The submission of papers, as well as participation in the Seminar are entirely free. For questions, contact politicasparadiversidade(a)gmail.com.

The seminar is organized by the Multidisciplinary Graduate Program in Culture and Society (PÓS-CULTURA/UFBA), the Centre for Cultural Diversity (ODC) and the network U40 Brazil. U40 Fellows were actively involved in the first and second edition in 2011 and 2012.
